Don't underestimate....Farewell Friend...
My friend this blog will mark the end of a journey, an experiment to share creatively via this platform. It has been quite the experience interacting with you through this social media vehicle to hopefully spark new ideas and ultimately to encourage the Remnant. It's been thrilling to see the number of people in many other states & countries in the world who have read my thoughts.
Maybe in the future I will continue the endeavor but for now, it's farewell. You may say, why stop? I have a feeling I will be endeavoring into some fresh new ideas and other pursuits in which to use my spiritual gift of encouragement for the Remnant. Stay tuned..
I wanted to leave you a final thought, but before I do, I must acknowledge that I spoke to myself as much as to the reader in each blog. In the Word, I recall "David encouraged himself in the LORD his God." 1 Sam 30:8 This may sound strange but this blog has served to encourage me greatly, especially in the times we find ourselves. :-)
These are the last days. The Remnant of Christ are the Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Christ until He comes again. We are the salt and the light. Without Christ's presence in and through us this world would rapidly deteriorate into unbridled evil. So while there is yet time. Remnant, rise up! Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Do not be afraid.
We must stand firm, and wait patiently for the Lord to act on our behalf. We must look for opportunities to exhibit the love of Christ to the lost. We must be God's hands and feet in every corner of the world. Ours is the inheritance of nations. We are born of the water and the spirit. He is coming soon and may He not find us asleep.
We are the watchmen and it is our task to reach the nations with the message of the Savior.
Regardless of our limitedness and lack, no matter the size of the Remnant, my friend, don't underestimate what God can do with the man or woman who is fully surrendered to Him. By the grace of God let us be such a people.
May God richly bless you friend and may His face shine upon you. May He continue to encourage you until we meet again!
"But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me." 1 Corinthians 16:8-9
