Who is God That We Should Trust Him?.....

With His unlimited power, God formed the heavens, the galaxies, the stars, and the earth. The earth rotates at the perfect speed, the perfect tilt, and is positioned at the perfect distance from the sun..but is God's power enough to deliver me from me & hell itself?

With His inexhaustible provision, God provides for the eagle, the dolphin, the snail, the lion, & the mouse. No creature is too small or great that He cannot provide for their needs past, present, or future...but is God's provision great enough to take care of my needs?

With His undefeated nature, God reigns supreme over all His creation spiritual and physical. There is no being or man that can match God's power...but is God powerful enough to deliver me from my troubles?

With His absolute understanding, God's wisdom surpasses all men's greatest minds combined. He knows the future and understands the hearts & minds of men.....but is God able to understand my situation & circumstances?

With His indescribable creativity, God made man in His image, the unique fingerprints of every baby, the mountains, the colors of the rainbow, and each intricate detail of all creation....but are God's ways higher than mine?

With His perfect love, God forgives all sins and remembers our sins no more. He offers eternal life and peace with God....but if God's love is perfect is that enough?

With His neverending patience, God draws men to Himself. He relentlessly seeks the lost and longs for them to believe in Him.....but is God's patience adequate for me?

With His unfathomable wisdom, God orchestrates all creation, time, and space. He gives wisdom to the squirrel to store, to the bear to hibernate, and the great flocks of birds to migrate.....but is God wise enough to guide me in my daily life?

If God has unlimited power and inexhaustible provision. If He is undefeated and absolutely understanding. If His creativity is indescribable and His love perfect. If He has neverending patience and unfathomable wisdom.....should I trust Him?

In light of all that God is, He demands that we trust Him. The Lord Almighty who is unlimited challenges us who are all woefully limited to trust Him. So should we trust God or lean on our own understanding? The wise man trusts in the God who cannot fail. The fool trusts in his own understanding destined to fail. Let us trust Him, friend, trust Him...

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil." Proverbs 3:5-7
