They Underestimate the God They War Against....

In just the last few months let alone the last decade we have seen a tremendous escalation in the manifestation of evil across our world. Even secular commentators are saying that they now sense there is something greater going on behind the world events. They characterize it as a battle of good vs evil. They are right. From the recent Olympic Last Supper mockery, two failed assassination attempts of Trump, the war against Israel, and much much more evil is on full display.

We all know the enemies of God are numerous in history and at present. They mock God with their speech and deeds as though He does not hear. They seemingly have no fear of the God of the Bible. His name isn't reverenced it's just a favorite word to swear by or curse.

Does He hear? Should men fear the God of the Hebrews? People of every nation mock him and bastardize what He has called sacred to elevate their wicked pursuits. They plot and scheme in secret or piously in the open against the ways of God.

"Christians are the king of fools" the elite postulate as they boast in their limited understanding. Have they underestimated the God they war against? Have you?

God sees all that is done both on earth and in heaven. Nothing is secret to Jehovah God. While the wicked man may enjoy great success and unbridled pleasure for a season, he can not hide from God. He can manipulate his circumstances by cheating other men, lying, and stealing but God will not be manipulated. The schemes of wicked men are no match for a God who has infinite power. He will not be mocked.

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." Gal 6:7

It is He who has the power of life and death. He is the one who faster than the blink of an eye can take breath from a man's lungs. He who created the mind and who can cause it to unravel.  He who gives men health and can allow disease to destroy it.  He who can allow prosperity and bring destruction. One cannot run from God & escape His pursuit.  No man's tongue is skilled enough to deceive God.  

He is the ultimate judge and His wisdom parses out men's greatest attempts to conceal that which is true.  No man's wealth, position, influence, or stature can save him from God's wrath.  No title is safe from His ability to bring one low. His wrath is not limited to one's fragile human existence but is eternal.

There is no stronghold secure enough to shield the wicked from God. There is no power great enough to give them aid against Him. All men will give account to the One who holds the keys to hell and death. Those who war against Him, repent! They are the fools. They underestimate the God they war against.

“Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Romans 12:19
