What Kind of God is HE?....

Humans are the pinnacle of His creation. So complex is their creation yet even the wisest of them is not remotely able to comprehend the vast great power of God. We are so limited in our understanding of the power of God. Our wildest imaginations cannot begin to properly capture His genius, His understanding, and His ability.

What power on earth is His equal? Where can you go that His presence is not? What treasure could a man amass that could compare to the one who gave the earth it's supply? What man can tell the seas to roar, the earth to quake, or the rivers to flow? Who can rain down upon a million people quail to eat daily and have no fear of running out to satisfy the hunger of a nation?

Who can tell the planets to exist, set their boundaries, and maintain their existence while knowing the thoughts of every man? At the same time He knows the path and plight of every creator, every fish in the sea, every bird, and manages with perfection the seasons. He tells the grass where it may grow in abundance and the insects where they may exist. He knows the beat of every heart, the unique form of every snowflake, presides of the growth of every fruit, and fashioned the species of every creator in His unique design. He maintains order, balance, time, & space through generation after generation. He has no limits and nothing is too difficult for Him.

Is He impressed with the pride of men? Is He found wanting as they express their wicked imaginations and create false gods to worship despite all the evidence to the contrary of His supreme being? Is He impressed with the great towering statues of the Hindu gods among the mountain tops of India or the enormous temples to Budda in the East, or the black stone of the Arabs?

These gods are mens foolish attempt to cut the Almighty out of His creation but they are all empty statues & monuments, made of wood, stone, iron, and materials by the hands of wicked men. The idol craftsmen takes painstaking effort to paint on eyes that cannot see, to craft ears that cannot hear, to form a base or foundation so that his work does not fall to the ground under it's own weight. Yet the God of Israel laughs at them...for what God cannot see, or hear, or needs a foundation built to keep it from tumbling over?

Greater still the God of the Bible is able to make the earth His footstool but also do the inconceivable and make Himself known through His only Son the Christ to His creation. Further still, He is able through His Holy Spirit to enter the souls of men, make those who believe spiritually alive, and free them from the power of sin.

He is a God of Truth. He speaks no lies. He can be trusted. He is always faithful. He never breaks His promises. His logistics are perfect. His wisdom unmatched. His kindness unfathomable. He watches over His word to perform it. He knows the beginning from the end.

From the dawn of creation His masterpiece has rebelled and throughout the centuries mens hearts have tested & mocked Him. Yet this God gives men a choice to choose eternal salvation or eternal separation from a perfect love? This God's love is unconditional? This God is relentless in His pursuit that men may know Him? What kind of God is He?......
